August 25, 1945 – March 18, 2024

Robert Francis Reymont (aka Bob/Bobby) passed away peacefully at home in Mount Dora, at the young age of 78, after suffering from Alzheimer’s.

Bob was born in Long Island City, NY, but raised in Bethpage – Long Island. He graduated high school in 1963. In 1965, he met “Sweet Lorraine”. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1966, married in 1968, and in 1970, his first child was born. Bob then decided to make a career of it and proudly served his country, all over the world, including a tour in Vietnam, for 21 years, in the Disaster Preparedness field. He retired as a MSgt. and moved his family to Florida in 1987.

Bob loved to travel, was enamored with planes, trains and automobiles, tell cheesy “dad jokes”, and tried almost every gadget he could get his hands on. He was known to be generous and very proud of his family, near and far. He adored his grandchildren.

Now, united in heaven with his parents, Victor and Rita, and brother, Victor. Bob is survived by his “Sweet Lorraine”, Lorraine Reymont, to whom he was married for 55 years, and his children, Cynthia Reymont Stoner, Robert Reymont, Jr. (Isabel), and Michael Reymont (Niki); his sisters, Felicia Beyer (Bill), Patricia Cunniff (Tom), and Kathleen Reymont; his grandchildren, Halle Stoner, Jack Reymont, Gavin Reymont, and Isabella Greene. Numerous nephews and nieces are feeling our loss as well.

A visitation will be held at Allen J. Harden Funeral Home located at 1800 N. Doneely Street, Mount Dora, Florida, 32757, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 6pm – 8pm.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church located at 6803 Old Hwy 441, Mount Dora, Florida, 32757, on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 9am. A military honors burial service will follow at Highland Memory Gardens located at 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka, Florida, 32703.
