December 19, 1961 – March 14, 2024

On March 14, 2024, Ginger Allison Butler passed away peacefully at the age of 62. She was born December 19, 1961 in Bellefontaine, Ohio, and moved to Florida in her late teens. She married her first husband, John Treadway, and raised two children with him until they separated ways, remaining friends. A while later she met Scott Butler and it was a match made in heaven. Together they conquered so much and grew closer every step. Ginger was a hairdresser, worked with the family company, a stay-at-home mother, an advertising agent and so much more in her career days. But throughout her whole life she loved helping others. She thrived at her church and was involved with numerous ministries focused on the care and salvation of others.

Ginger always wanted better for anyone who was struggling and she did what she could to ensure she was a part of their solution. Ginger cared deeply for her family, neighbors, and friends. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always the first to offer help even if that meant a sacrifice to her own comfort or health. She was surrounded with the love of her friends and family from all over as she passed and had her daughter by her side.

Ginger is survived by her husband, Scott Butler, her daughter, Allison (John) Liston, her daughter-in-law, Meghan Treadway, her step-children, Stephanie Unsworth, Laura (Kevin) Bass, Josh (Carrie) Butler, Joseph (Mariana) Butler, and Kelly (Nathan) Kines, her brother, Greg (Kathleen) Dattilo, her brother, Tony Dattilo, her grandchildren Timothy and Benjamin, her step-grandchildren Joseph, Hannah (Luxy), Garron, Leah, Aiden, Conner, Jackson and Cylus. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by, her father and mother Ronald and Marilyn Dattilo, her step-granddaughter, Rebecca Daily, and her son, Dustin Treadway.

Services will be held at Good News Church, 400 Executive Blvd, Leesburg, FL 34748 on March 23, 2024 at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, please forward donations in her honor to the American Heart and Lung Association.
