Lois Hazel Texter (nee Gebhart) passed away on March 7, 2024, in Eustis, Florida. She was born on August 28, 1938, in Pittsburgh. Lois was known for her kind, empathetic, selfless, giving, benign, charitable, compassionate, courteous, friendly, and generous nature.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Texter Jr. and was preceded in death by her son, Joey, who passed away at the age of 37.
Lois started her spiritual journey as a nun growing up on the northside of Pittsburgh, PA.
Services for Lois Hazel Texter will include a viewing on Tuesday from 3-6 pm followed by a funeral mass on Wednesday at 10 am at the St. Mary of the Lakes Parish. For more information about the church, please visit https://www.stmaryofthelakesparish.org/.
