A deputy responded to an undisclosed Leesburg area regarding a fight, later found to involve 19-year-old Jahkobe Greene, around 6:07 p.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

Prior to the deputy’s arrival, he was notified that a black Mercedes and a gray Kia were at the victim’s residence with firearms. The vehicles fled the area prior to law enforcement getting there but were later found at Laurel Oaks apartments, located at 2700 Laurel Hollow Drive. An officer with the Leesburg Police Department advised that the vehicles were in the back corner of the complex on the left side of the pool, the report said.

Two deputies responded to the area and got out on foot. They stopped the vehicles and began explaining the allegations that had been received. One of the deputies spoke with the driver who gave them permission to search the vehicle for any firearms, the report said.

Greene was seated in the front passenger seat and threw a black holster into the backseat when he was removed from the vehicle. One of the deputies was later told by the LPD officer that Greene was trying to conceal the holster in his waistband before being removed from the vehicle. Due to the allegations of a firearm being used in the commission of a crime, Greene was detained, the report said.

Another deputy met with the four victims and obtained affidavits. The two juvenile victims described Greene by height and clothing description. The male victim described Greene but also positively identified the victim via police show up, the report said.

All four victims completed affidavits that alleged when Greene exited the vehicle with a black gun in his hand, it caused them to fear for their lives. The female victim stated that she was afraid for her sons and yelled for them to get down, the report said.

Greene was subsequently arrested on charges of four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and improper exhibition of dangerous firearms. He was transported to Lake County Jail and released after posting $11,000 bond.
