Dr. Fred Alden Lentini, 94, of Eustis, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024.

Born in Ringoes, New Jersey, he moved to Eustis in 2002 from Marathon, Florida. Dr. Lentini was a well-known and respected dentist in Bucks County, PA until retiring to Florida. Fred was a Scoutmaster to 26 Eagle Scouts with the Boy Scouts of America. He was also a member of the Brat Pack Rescue, saving and rehoming over 1,000 dogs. Fred was extremely knowledgeable and has a huge collection of Native American artifacts.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marilyn Lentini, Eustis, FL; 7 sons, Kurt (Suzanne) Lentini, Savannah, GA, Keith (Kathy) Lentini, Holland, PA, Dr. Larry (Nancy) Lentini, Newtown, PA, Allen Lentini, Fort Myers, FL, Dr. Tim (Jill) Riley, Dexter, NY, Daniel Riley, Mount Dora, FL, Stephen (April) Riley, Eustis, FL; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Sunday, January 14, 2024, from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lake County Animal Shelter, 12280 County Road 448, Tavares, FL 32778.
