To the Editor:
It is only a matter of time before someone is killed on U.S. Hwy. 27 between County Road 48 and Lake Harris. There are so many driveways, businesses, and U-turn lanes that it is only a question when, not if there will be a fatal accident.
The speed limit from County 48 to Lake Harris should be lowered to 45, at least two more traffic lights installed, and enforcement enhanced. With the massive amount of development Leesburg has approved and has not as yet been built the enhancement of public safety on our roads should be a top priority.
