Steven Mun Tang, M.D., 69, of Eustis, Florida, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

Born in Hong Kong to the late George Chin Fu Tang & Sim Kuen (Wu) Tang, he moved to Eustis in 1988 from Long Island, New York. Dr. Tang was an Internist and owned his own practice in Eustis, Florida since 1990. He served as Chief of Medicine at Florida Hospital/Waterman from 2011-2021.

He is survived by his son, Dr. Schuyler G. Tang of Orlando, FL; his step-daughter, Chiara Viscomi, of San Francisco, CA; 3 brothers – Dr. Winson Tang of Malibu, CA; Howard Tang of Mount Dora, FL; and Andrew Tang of Kentfield, CA – brother-in-law Dr. Martin Lipschutz of Garden City, NY; sister-in-law, Dr. Denise Andrews of Malibu, CA; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ena Tang of Garden City, NY.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Mount Dora, Florida on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 9:00 AM. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home in Eustis, Florida, on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Flowers are accepted, but the bereaved would prefer memorial donations made to MAYS (Metropolitan Area Youth Symphony) at 3081 Heartleaf Pl, Winter Park FL 32792 (https://maysymphony.org/) or to CFC Arts (Central Florida Community Arts) at P.O.
