A 58-year-old Leesburg man who had been arrested in 2022 in a sexual assault case has been acquitted by a Lake County jury.
Jeffrey M. Fairbank was acquitted this past week on charges of sexual battery and battery. The $11,000 bond he posted has been refunded, according to Lake County Court records.
The woman had claimed she had been attacked at his mobile home on County Road 33.
