Joyce “Dale” Harper of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Tuesday September 12, 2023, at the age of 77.
Dale was born to her parents Leroy David and Genevieve Bass on December 10, 1945, in Kissimmee, Florida. On January 8, 1965, she married the love of her life Larry Russell Harper in Orlando, Florida. Throughout their marriage they lived in Florida with a short time in Maine. Dale worked for U-Haul as a Corporate Manager. Her hobbies included gardening, collecting crystals, thrifting, and antiquing. She was known for her love of roses and ability to craft. Her grandson Ethan is her greatest joy.
Dale is survived and will be missed dearly by her husband Larry Russell Harper, daughter Cindy (Bill) Engelhart; brother Bill (Linda) Bass; and grandson Ethan Engelhart.
A Memorial service will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Friday September 15, 2023, at 2 PM, with a gathering held prior from 1 PM – 2 PM. She will be placed at Florida National Cemetery on a later date.
