Jonathan Mark Nembhard, 20, of Leesburg FL, sadly passed away on September 7, 2023, in Hackensack Hospital, NJ. Jonathan was born on January 19, 2003, to Phillip Nembhard & Racquel Robinson.

Jonathan was a very special child who grew up to be a fine young man. He was well-known for his loving, respectful, and considerate personality. He always exhibited strong resilience and courage, even in the face of cancer, which he overcame at the age of 6. Jonathan had a wonderful life filled with cherished memories. These include Special Olympics, excursions, and other quality times spent with families in both Florida and New Jersey. His life was completely surrounded by love from his mother and father.

Jonathan was a dedicated student interning in a special needs program at South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL. He had a passion for helping others and was deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of those with special needs. After 14 years of being cancer-free, he faced another battle with cancer in late 2022 which he, unfortunately, succumbed to.

Jonathan is survived by his parents, Phillip Nembhard and Racquel Robinson, sibling Ethan Robinson, and grandparents, Ambra Wallace & Doreen Bennett. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Egbert Nembhard & Joseph Palarchie.

Family will receive friends on Friday, September 22, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Page-Theus Funeral Home, located at 914 West Main Street, Leesburg, FL. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Page-Theus Funeral Home and the interment afterwards at 4:30 PM at Hillcrest Cemetery in Leesburg, FL.
