Phyllis E. Malcolm of Altoona, Florida passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023. She was 85. Phyllis was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Friday, February 18, 1938 to Phillip H. and Ethel Maholm.

Phyllis was a homemaker taking good care to raise her family. She was a talented artist. She loved to paint, and beautiful and colorful landscape paintings were her favorite. She volunteered at Altoona Elementary School as an Art teacher. She was a past President of the Magnolia Garden Club of Eustis, a member of the Red Hat Society, the Eustis Art League, the Lake Trout Nature Center, and the Sanford Bromeliad Society. She formerly attended the Altoona Methodist Church and most recently attended Faith Christian Fellowship in Eustis.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2007, Emory. Phyllis is remembered and will be dearly missed by her daughter, Beth (Rick)Magnus of Altoona; son, P.L. (Anita) Malcolm of Sanford, Florida; grandchildren, Caitlin (Arthur) of Bedford, Virginia, Cody of Leesburg, Florida, Kiera of Houston, Texas, Elena, Mikayla (Vernon) and Alex, all of Sanford.

Family and friends are invited to gather for viewing on Monday, July 17 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon with a Funeral Ceremony starting at 12:00 Noon in the funeral home chapel.

Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
