Daphne Pope Dean took her final breath at the age of 75 on June 19, 2022. She was under the care of Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages at the time of her passing. She was born in Eustis on February 16, 1947. She achieved her degree in nursing, and worked as a Registered Nurse at Waterman Hospital in Eustis for many years. She married Tommy Dean in 2001. She is survived by her sister, Margaret Hickey of Astor Park; and brothers, David Pope of Gerton, NC and Tony Pope of TN; son, Damon “D” Hall of Okmulgee, OK; 2 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. There will be no memorial service. Final arrangements are being made by Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, Tavares, FL.
