Edward “Ed” W. Sutton of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on Friday March 10, 2023, at the age of 71.

He was born on January 22, 1952, to his parents Edward and Helen Sutton in Rahway, New Jersey. On August 2, 1975, he married the love of his life Roberta “Robbie” Sutton in Charleston, West Virginia. After living 35 years in Northern Virginia, Ed moved to Mount Dora 9 years ago. He was incredibly passionate about golf and was a member of the Lakes of Mount Dora golf club. He was also a proud member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity and a member of the LOMD can club. He worked for the Department of Defense for 34 years as a production manager for undersea weapons (PMS404P) He later worked for the McLaughlin Research Corp where he provided acquisition management and technical support to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport. He was a lover of Bluegrass & Opera music and liked to pass the time with a sudoku book. Ed was member of the First Presbyterian Church in Eustis, Florida.

Ed is predeceased by his mother and father Edward and Helen Sutton.

He is survived by his wife Robbie Sutton; children Ted Sutton and Elizabeth (Erik) Sutton Davis; grandchildren Laila Sutton, Bella Sutton, Ella Sutton, Sutton Davis, and Scarlett Davis; and his sister Pamela Sutton.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 24 at 11am, at the First Presbyterian Church in Eustis, Florida.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to go to the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis, Florida.
