Cynthia Sarver went home to heaven on November 18, 2022 at age 71.

Cynthia was born on January 26, 1951 in New London, Connecticut. She met her late husband John Sarver in 1973 where they went on to have 3 children. She was a school teacher for many years having a Master’s degree in English. After retiring from being a school teacher she became a social worker for the State of Florida and an Office Administrator for her church in Fruitland Park, Florida. Cynthia also worked at Golden Corral in Eustis, Florida for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid church member at Calvary Baptist Church. Cynthia was also a Sunday School Teacher and was active in the church youth group program. She would be there every Sunday morning ready to ride the bus to assist with the children. Growing up in New England she had a great love for lighthouses and collected them as a hobby. Cynthia had the heart of a servant and lived to dedicate herself to helping others. Cynthia was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandma and great grandma for which she was raising her great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her late husband John, mother Belle, father David and sister Betty. Cynthia leaves behind 3 children Rachel, Daniel and Rebecca. She has 2 sisters she leaves behind Fran and Barbara and 2 brothers David and Robert. Cynthia leaves behind 6 grandchildren Ayreal, Alerik, Dane’, Alyssa, Andrew and Harper. She also leaves behind 3 great grandchildren Aurora, Izayah and Azariah. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church in Fruitland Park, Florida with funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM; interment to follow at Lady Lake Cemetery.
