Anthony “Dennis” DelFavero, 72, of Leesburg FL, died on Tuesday November 24th at AdventHealth Waterman Hospital in Tavares following a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Dennis was born and raised in Boston MA. Dennis enlisted in the Navy from 1964-1969, he honorably served his country in the Vietnam war. He went on to enlist in the Army reserves from 1971-1978. Upon retiring from the Army, Dennis became a Billerica MA resident for over 30 years. He was a proud member of Elks Lodge BPOE #2071 where he reached the coveted status of Exalted Ruler. Dennis also served as a member of both the Masonic Lodge and Shiners. Known as the type of person to give you the shirt off his back. Although he presented a tough exterior, he was a soft-hearted loving man, who loved the “open road.”

Dennis is survived his children, Angela & Denis St. Laurent, Shayne DelFavero, Laura & Jim Shanley; Brothers, John & his wife Bonnie (Cargill), Eugene & his wife Nina. Along with many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Duilio DelFavero, Brothers; Joseph DelFavero & Thomas DelFavero, Sister: Catherine Spacer, uncle & aunt Clement (Ikey) & Phyllis DelFavero.
