A local resident has claimed a $150,000 prize from a winning scratch-off ticket that she purchased at a convenience store in Apopka.
Mary Venis Koutsakis, of Eustis, claimed a $150,000 prize in the Gold Mine scratch-off game from the Florida Lottery on June 30.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Trading Post, which is located at 3000 Clarcona Road, Unit TR-12, in Apopka.
Koutsakis’s payout adds to a continuous string of major lottery prizes claimed by local residents over the past several months:
- A Groveland resident was named the winner of a $1 million scratch-off that was purchased at a local RaceTrac.
- A Lake County resident claimed a $10 million prize from a scratch-off purchased at a Circle K in Leesburg.
- Another Groveland resident won a $1 million prize from a scratch-off ticket purchased at a RaceTrac in Minneola.
- A Clermont resident took home a $500,000 prize from a scratch-off ticket purchased at a local Publix.
- A Tavares woman claimed a $100,000 prize from a ticket purchased at a Winn-Dixie.
- Another Lake County woman successfully claimed two separate prizes from tickets she bought on the exact same day at different local gas stations
