The Leesburg Boating Club has purchased and paid for the installation of an 80-foot flagpole at the point of Ski Beach in Venetian Gardens in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The 20-foot-by-30-foot flag will be presented to the City of Leesburg at a dedication ceremony on July 4.
