Quedee Swan III
December 7, 1963 – March 9, 2024
Quedee Swan III, of Leesburg, passed away March 9, 2024. He was born on December 7,1963 in Jacksonville, Florida, to the Late Quedee Swan II and Doretha Allen Croskey. He attended Public School in Lake County, Duval County and Dade County Where he graduated from Miami Central High School.
Quedee was a tuba player in the band and also ran track as a high jumper. He had a love for science and math
Quedee loved his family and spending time with his kids and his grandchildren. Quedee was a proud great grandfather of his great grand son . Quedee love fishing ,singing and dancing and had an eye for photos. He was the family photographer. He loved sport and if you know him his favorite NFL team was Jacksonville Jaguars he was a big fan of the Jaguars win or loose and he also loved FSU Seminoles. Quedee would always keep you laugh with the jokes he would tell, He loved God and always encouraged everyone to read the bible and to pray .
Quedee worked as a landscaper for many years at Tru Green in Lady Lake Florida. He admired plant flowers, gardening and always being outside in nature.
Quedee was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Brother Donald Croskey, aunts and uncles and other relatives.
On Saturday March 9, 2024 God looked at his attendance records of His sheep that remain on earth. As he performed a roll call, Quedee Swan III’s name appeared before Him. In His infinite wisdom, God called him to Eternal rest.
Quedee leaves behind to cherish his memories : Wife ( Sharon Thomas- Swan of Jacksonville Fl ) ,2 Daughter’s: Marquisa Colter-Donaldson ( Darrell) and Lashune Colter -Johnson( Cleo) both of Ocala , 1 step Daughter : Totseau Roberts of Jacksonville Fl ,2 step sons: Thomas Roberts III(April) and Jarvis Thomas all of Jacksonville FL , 3 sister: Deeanna Swan and Arnetha swan both of Leesburg Fl. And Ronzella Croskey(George) of Durham NC , 3 brothers Clyde Croskey Jr ( Lavernice ) of Miami Fl , Ronald Croskey ( Jacksonville FL) and Kenneth Croskey( Mary Anne) of Lockhart Tx . 3 Grandkids : Jaquise Howard of Orlando FL , Jaiden Kirkland and Jillani Donaldson both of Ocala fl. 1 great grandson : Jaquise Howard Jr of Orlando FL . 1 aunt: Odessa Jackson of Miami Fl , 1 uncle : Solomon “Long John” Allen of Jacksonville Fl. Quedee Swan III leave a multitude of other sorrowing relatives and friends that will forever miss his loving smile and spirit.
