Dale Lee Whitford, 75, of Eustis, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024.
Born in Conneaut, Ohio on September 14, 1948, Dale moved to Eustis in 1954 with his parents (Ken and Doris) and brother (Ron). He owned and operated Whitford Appliance in Eustis from 1981-2017 after working for his father there since 1962. Dale was an avid outdoorsman and shared his love of nature with friends and family through snorkeling, boating, fishing, camping, and hunting.
A loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, Dale was curious, gentle, and kind, and he was rarely without a smile.
Dale is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pamela K. Whitford, Eustis, FL; son, Don (Candice) Whitford, Eustis, FL; daughter, Amanda (Billy) Ayers, Sanford, FL; five grandchildren, Roan Whitford, Velouria Whitford, Abrey Ayers, Brandon Ayers, and Dustin Ayers.
A private celebration of life will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
