A Leesburg man has been sentenced to a lengthy jail term on child pornography charges.
Victor Manuel Toledo, 32, was arrested back in July 2021 by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement on 15 counts of possession of child pornography after agents executed a search warrant at his home, located at 1605 Crest Avenue, and found images depicting child sexual abuse.Â
This past week in Lake County Court, he was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days in the Lake County Jail, with credit for six days already served. He will also be on probation for 10 years.
The investigation began in May of that year based on information that an online address was being used to share files depicting child sexual abuse. FDLE Cybercrimes Task Force and other members of FDLE, with assistance from Homeland Security, executed the search warrant at Toledo’s residence.Â
During an on-scene examination, agents found evidence of child exploitation images involving pre-pubescent children on Toledo’s electronic devices, which were seized for further analysis. As part of last week’s sentencing, he was also ordered to permanently forfeit those devices.
