Mary E. Lambert (79) of Altoona, Florida has gone home to be with our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on January 7th, 2024. She passed peacefully, in her home, surrounded by loved ones.\

Mary was born to Elmer & Myrtie Skinner on October 20th, 1944 in Graceville, Florida. She later moved to Altoona, and retired from the Lake County School system after many years of service in the Cafeteria of Umatilla Middle School. Her retirement years were spent doing what she loved most; being with her family, serving the Lord, and spreading His word. She attended the First Baptist Churches of both; Altoona & Paisley, Fl.

Mary made an amazing “ice box cake” and loved her family dearly! She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed!!

Mary was preceded in death by; beloved husband- Archie Lambert, son- Glen “Eddie” Hall, and sisters- (Shirley Whitehead), (Alma Hobbs). She is survived by; son- Artie (Lisa) Lambert, and daughter- Tammie Bingham, sisters- (Annie Williford) (Sophronia “Beth” Walter) (Lovie Mahair), brother- Jimmy Skinner. As well as, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at Beyers Funeral Home 279 S Central Ave, Umatilla, FL 32784 on Monday January 15 ,2024 @ 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Hinson Cemetery, Baptist Riding Loop, Altoona, FL 32702
