Beverly Ann Lemon
October 19, 1949 – October 22, 2023
Beverly Ann Lemon was born October 19, 1949 to the late James Arthur and Maime Boston Charles in Leesburg, FL.
She was reared in a Christian home and joined Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church at a young age. Later she would become a member of Mt. Ararat Metropolitan Baptist Church. Beverly was educated in the Lake County School system and was a graduate of Carver Heights High School Class of 1968. She would later attend and earn a Bachelor’s Degree from Bethune Cookman College. She was employed and later retired from the State of Florida Department of Children and Families.
In earlier years, Beverly belonged to a prayer group that circulated around the Lake, Orange, and Seminole counties praying for those who asked in for prayer in their homes. All night prayer meeting and bible study with various prayer partners were common in the Lemon home. Beverly was a faithful and vital member of The Father’s House for over 20 years until her health began to fail. She also served on the Board of The Father’s House for many years.
She leaves to mourn: One son Demetrius R.
