M.C. John C. McCrary

Master Chief John C. McCrary, US Navy Retired, 95, of Mount Dora, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he moved to Mount Dora in 1992 from Lake City, Florida. John was a Master Chief in the United States Navy, Seabees and served during World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was a Member-at-Large with the American Legion Fleet Reserve and Commander-at-Large with the Disabled American Veteran Chapter #128.
John is survived by his 3 sons, Daniel D. McCrary of Stanton, CA, William A. McCrary of Magnolia, TX, and Billy Eugene Friar of White Springs, FL; daughter, Barbara Ann Richards of Eustis, FL; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 12:00 PM. Military interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery,
