Traffic is at a standstill for several miles in the southbound lanes of the Turnpike in Lake County as emergency personnel tend to an accident.
The accident took place at around 7:14 a.m. on Monday in the southbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike, just before mile marker 277.
According to FL511.com, the left, southbound lane of traffic has been closed, additional details regarding the crash have not been made available as of 7:45 a.m.
As of 8 a.m., cars were seen in stop-and-go traffic for several miles north of the accident scene.
