Juanita T. Frantz, 87, passed away suddenly on October 3, 2023 at UF Health Leesburg. Juanita was a resident of Leesburg Florida since 1998. Juanita retired from Workforce Central Florida in 2011 where she worked as a Career Counselor and taught the Ticket to Work Class.
Juanita is survived by 3 sons: Thomas Frantz of Orchard Beach, Maryland, Scott Frantz of Leesburg, Florida and Timothy Frantz of Leesburg, Florida, a granddaughter Amber N. Frantz and a grandson Christopher S. Frantz and his spouse Ashley L. Frantz of Port Mathilda, Pennsylvania. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents Lester V. Thigpen and Thelma B. Thigpen and her brother Rev Dr. Edward L. Thigpen Sr and sister-in-law Betsy A. Thigpen.
Juanita enjoyed dancing, aerobics, walking, riding her bicycle, going to the spa, watching classic movies, Elvis Presley, The Carol Burnett Show, All in the Family, Dr. Phil and Judge Judy. She would want everyone to know that she is reunited in heaven with her beloved Yorkshire Terrier “Pixie.”
A Celebration of Life will be held at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Leesburg, on Sunday October 15, 2023 at 2:00pm with food and refreshments to be served at The Pennbrooke Fairways GRAND HALL afterwards. In lieu of Flowers, Juanita wished for donations to be made in her honor to Florida Yorkie Rescue, 2740 SW Martin Downs Blvd. Suite #205, Palm City, Florida 34990.
