David Wayne McLeod Jr. of Leesburg passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023. He was 38.
David was born in Eustis and has been a life long resident of the area. He was a sports fanatic, playing on the Eustis Little League, AAU baseball, and Umatilla High School junior varsity and varsity football. He also loved watching sports with his favorite channel being ESPN.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Wayne McLeod, Sr. in 2017. David is remembered and will be dearly missed by his sons, David Grant McLeod and Brayden Ridge McLeod, both of Umatilla; his mother, Dawn M. McLeod of Leesburg; sister, Michelle (Kenny) Hall of Leesburg, brother, Billy T. (Tiffany) McLeod of Henagar, Alabama and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held soon.
