Douglas Kip Samples of Leesburg, Fl passed away unexpectedly on August 25 at the age of 66. Kip lived a life of dignity, honor and loyalty, taking great pleasure in making people smile. Kip was a member of the Tri County Clowns, always willing to lend a helping hand, how appropriate his clown name is Fixer. What a delight he was in the community volunteering, ringing the bell for charity & always putting a smile on someone’s face.

He loved his family and those he chose as his family. He spread kindness, love, joy and caring around like it was confetti. He loved his little dog Toby, ALL things Goofy, bowling with his buddies and tinkering in his workshop creating, building and inventing things.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Kips honor to one of his favorite charities and keep his legacy of love continuing on. Those charities are SPCA, American Cancer Society, The Heart Association and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

A celebration of Kip’s life will be held on Saturday, October 7, at 11:00 AM, United Church of Christ at the Villages (UCC) 12514 County Rd 101, The Villages, FL.

Kip will be missed by many but never forgotten because we all know if you knew him you loved him!
