Ken C. Lawn, 90, of Leesburg, Florida passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Lake Port Square Health Center as he listened to Frank Sinatra singing, “I Did It My Way”; Ken’s signature song. Ken was the only child of the late Chester and Mary (Zionts) of Cicero, Illinois.

Ken’s career in graphic arts began in high school and spanned over thirty years with Schawk Graphics in Illinois. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Army.

Ken will be fondly remembered by his many friends in Illinois and Florida.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Lael Lawn, four children, Karen Kirchner, James (Teri) Lawn, Jeffrey (Fawn) Lawn, Randy (Cindy) Lawn, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren (many of whom learned the proper way to fish from Grandpa Ken). He was preceded in death by his oldest son Gary Lawn and son-in-law James Kirchner.

Memories of good times with him will live on.

A celebration of life will be planned for some time in October at Lake Port Square with interment at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
