Robert Scott Hobbs of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on Wednesday July 26, 2023, at the age of 88.
Robert was born to his parents Wendell Wilson and Ruth Josephine Hobbs on January 6, 1934, in Newark, New Jersey. Robert had lived in Florida off and on for 10 years, but primarily lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was a member of the United States Army for 2 years and worked as a consultant for business and real estate. Robert was also a master level bridge player.
Robert is survived by his children Ashley (Kathy) Hobbs, Matt Hobbs, and Andy Hobbs; siblings Ray Hobbs, Marsha Gordon, Larry Hobbs, and William “Bill” Hobbs; along with his nieces Susan, Karen, Amy, and Betsy.
