Jonathon Wayne Cousino, formerly of Leesburg, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Jon was born on April 11,1965 in Ohio. His family moved to Florida at a very young. He grew up and lived the remainder of his life in Leesburg.
He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go on camping trips with his family. Jon was an avid softball player for most of his life. He had a fierce competitive spirit and enjoyed the camaraderie of his teammates, which were some of his greatest friends. With his size and talent for the sport, he was an intimidating opponent on the field. He was a gentle giant with a big heart and a huge personality.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, Arthur Cole and Beatrice Lott. Surviving in addition to his beloved wife Brenda, are his daughter, Morgan Cousino; His two brothers and three sisters, James Cousino (Tanya); Dawn Collop (Jim); Beverly Loika (James); Rich Cole (Jill); Tonia Cole (Ricky); 9 nieces and 9 nephews; 17 great nieces and 24 great nephews.
A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday June 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Beyers Funeral Home located at 1123 West Main Street in Leesburg. A visitation for family and friends will be at 10:30 at the funeral home. Afterward, a Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM., located at 23125 Loop Rd in Groveland, 34736 by his family. Everyone is welcome.
