Leesburg commissioners will be considering approving two subdivision plats which will add 287 homes to the city.
The Villages of West Lake plat 84 calls for the construction of 121 single family homes. The city has approved several plats for The Villages of West Lake this year. Construction of homes in the portion of the nation’s largest retirement community located within the city limits of Leesburg is progressing at a rapid pace. This plat is located north of County Road 470 near the other plats the city approved earlier this year.
The commissioners will vote on approval for the plat for the Silver Lake Pointe Phase 1 subdivision. This subdivision will consist of 166 single family residential lots. It is located east of County Road 44 and south of Clark Street.
Approval of the plats of both subdivisions will enable the developers to begin selling lots and obtaining building permits.
