Bruce D. Crowe of Leesburg passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023. He was 72. Bruce was born in Malden, Massachusetts and grew up in Georgia. He played football in high school and in college and loved to watch football games on TV. He moved to this area in the early 1990’s. He attended church at the Backyard Bible Church in Paisley. He worked for the Lake County School Board as the Plant Operations Manager for 15 years until he retired in 2014.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Randal H. Crowe, Jr. and Evelyn Elizabeth Crowe and his brother, Randal H. Crowe III. He is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of nearly 8 years, Jane; daughter, Katie Crowe of South Carolina; step-daughters, Kelly (Todd) Winter of Paisley and Carol (Philip) Farmer of Eustis; step-sons, James (Kim) Adams of Altoona and Donald (Melisa)Adams of Umatilla; 22 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, May 6 from 10:30 – 11:00 AM with a memorial ceremony staring at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
