November 09, 1930 – April 24, 2023

Nancy’s younger years were spent with loving parents while being raised in West Virginia. Life brought Nancy many blessings, the biggest was the birth of her son Ogle in 1952. Nancy came to Florida in the late 60s where she began building a life for herself. Her career began in the food and manufacturing industries and finally found a home at Walt Disney World in costuming, where she remained for 25 years. Retiring in 2015, Nancy moved to Mount Dora to be with the Respress family and enjoy her retirement. This is when Nancy renewed her membership with the Moose Lodge, a place where she would go to relax and have a little fun.

While working in the manufacturing industry in 1980, she met Karol Respress and they instantly became the best of friends. This was the origination of “Aunt Nancy.” Her vivacious attitude quickly made her a genuine Baker/Respress family member for more than 40 years.

With her love of life and her love of people, Nancy gave from the heart. From friendship to love she gave all she had to help anyone, and since she had never met a stranger, she gave to anyone, anyone she thought needed a blessing….she was there!

Though her family was small, her list of friends would be endless.
She loved, she is loved, she is missed and will always be missed.
