James Frank Lynch

James Frank Lynch, age 74, of Tavares, Florida passed away peacefully at home on January 29th, 2023. He was born on December 20th, 1948 in Miami Florida. Jim served his country for four years in the United States Navy. He continued his service career as a police officer for the Los Angeles County Police Department as well as the Las Vegas K-9 Unit. He then spent 20 years as a commercial truck driver. After his move to Florida, he spent the remainder of his working years at Classique Bowl in Tavares until his retirement.

Jim is survived by his wife, Vickie; son, Sean (Val) and stepdaughter, Stephanie (James); his three sisters, Alayne, Lynn (Michael) and Sandy (Jim); two grandsons; Patrick (Hailey) and James, three granddaughters, Ashlie (Tanner), Bailie (Matt), and Isabell, as well as one great-grandson, Clinton. He also had numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Jean Holbert and James D. Lynch.

Jim loved bowling, enjoying his music and nature photography. Even after his retirement, he started every day early with a crossword puzzle. Jim entertained all with his witty, sometimes off-colored, Facebook posts.

Jim was a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He will forever be loved and remembered by family and friends. Those who knew him will carry a story of his caring, sense of humor and love of life with them in their own lives.
