Leon Wayne Huffman of Eustis, Florida passed away on Monday November 21, 2022, at the age of 68. Leon was born on November 14, 1954, in Eustis, Florida to his parents William and Doryan Huffman. He was born and raised in Eustis, Florida. Leon joined the United States Army in 1972-1978 working with Field Artillery. He was a dedicated family man who had a heart of gold. Leon loved nature and would spend his time hunting, fishing, and being in the woods. He was also known for being an incredibly hard worker.
Leon is survived by his daughters Millissia (Richie) Wills of Grand Island, Florida, Bonnie (Joe) Szabo of Summerfield, Florida, Carrie Huffman of Eustis, Florida, and Crystal Huffman of Apopka, Florida; brothers Hooper, Larry, Randy, and Joel Huffman; sisters Judy Tillery, Debra Corley, and Peggy Yandell; grandchildren Lori, Heather, Victoria, Hannah, Jaden, McKenzie, Audrina, Schyler; great grandchildren Easton, Arabella, Madison, Amelia, Brinleigh, Presley, and Peyton.
There will be a visitation for family and friends on Saturday November 26, 2022, from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel in Eustis, Florida. This will be immediately followed by a service at 1 PM at Hamlin & Hilbish as well.
