A Homosassa man was arrested for exposure of sexual organs last week after allegedly masturbated in front of a probation office in Leesburg.
Officers were dispatched to the probation office located at 1415 14th Street in Leesburg when a 911 caller reported a male identified as 52-year-old David M. Scott was publicly masturbating in front of the building, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. Two witnesses gave sworn statements attesting to seeing the Michigan native masturbating in public.
As the officers were talking to the witnesses, Scott started to run away. Scott resisted being handcuffed by keeping his hands in front of his body.
When the officers were finally able to handcuff Scott, they charged him with resisting arrest and exposure of sexual organs. After processing at the Leesburg Police Department he was taken to the Lake County Jail where bond was set at $2,000.
