Our beloved Mother, Hildegard G. Brown, sadly passed away to be with the Lord on September 29, 2022, at the age of 91. She had many loving relatives and friends. She was an active member of her church and the Eustis Moose for many years.
As a child she arrived in America from Germany after WWII. She taught herself to read, write, and speak the English language. Later in life, Hilde attended school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse and she worked in that field for many years. She loved all types of music, singing and dancing.
Hilde is survived by her husband Watson Dudley Brown, and 6 children (Susan, Michael, Frank, Clark, William, and Walter), 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She leaves behind two brothers, Helmut and Klaus Boening. Hilde is also survived by her stepchildren (Warren, Bruce, Tom, Trina, Ella and their children).
Please join us for a memorial service on November 12th at 1:00 PM at the Central Christian Church, 3729 North Highway 19A, Mt. Dora, Florida 32757. The family requests that donations be made to the Central Christian Church in lieu of flowers.
