Linda Locke Caudill of Fruitland Park passed away Saturday, June 11th, 2022 in Gainesville, Fl. After a long illness with her family by her side.
Linda was born in Leesburg, Fl on September 1, 1948 to Claude and Charleen Locke. She graduated from Leesburg High School in 1966 and went on to earn Bachelors and Master degrees in Physical Education from the University of Florida. She then began her teaching career in Lake County Schools at Eustis High School, Mt. Dora High School, Dabney Elementary School and Oak Park Middle School, retiring in 2010.
Linda loved the outdoors, especially horseback riding. She loved raising and caring for her horses on her family farm where she lived for over 30 years. She also enjoyed crocheting baby blankets for newly arrived children and grandchildren of friends.
Linda is survived by her husband of 43 years, Dave, her daughter Kara Wassman (Gainesville), son Chris (Fruitland Park), and two grandchildren, Emma and Jackson Wassman(Gainesville).
A private service is planned for a later date.
