Carol Ann (Lane) Frisbie, 79, entered the gates of Heaven on August 26, 2021. She was born March 21, 1942, in Endicott, New York, the daughter of Perley and Ada (Deats) Lane.
Carol graduated from Union-Endicott High School, Endicott, New York in 1959 and attended Ohio Christian University (formerly Circleville Bible College) in Circleville, Ohio. She married William G. Frisbie on September 10, 1960, in Endwell, New York. Carol retired as a Telecommunications Manager from IBM in Upstate, New York, and also worked for Ohio Christian University, Circleville, OH, and Asbury College, Wilmore, KY, before moving to Dunnellon, Florida in 1999. Carol served the Lord faithfully and was a member of Welcome Home Christian Church, Leesburg, Florida.
In addition to her parents, Carol is predeceased by five brothers, Lyle Lane, Melvin Lane, Delbert Lane, Milton Lane, Bruce Lane, and two sisters, Lois Guiles, and Mary Ellen Post.
Surviving in addition to her husband, William G. Frisbie, are three sons, Rev. Dr. Scott W. (Tammi) Frisbie of Mount Dora, Florida, John C. (Paige) Frisbie III of Heath, Ohio, and Thomas L. (Lydia) Frisbie of Wildwood, Florida; nine grandchildren, Zachary, Emily, Adam, Katrina, Brittany, Bree-Anna, Matthew, Caden, and Gabriel; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Lane, one sister, Barbara Lane Boyd, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Welcome Home Christian Church, 335 Tomato Hill Road, Leesburg, FL 34748. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 1901 County Road 25-A, Leesburg, FL 34748. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish to remember Carol in a special way, may make donations in her memory to Welcome Home Christian Church’s Building Fund.
