Oliva Rodriguez of Eustis passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024. She was 96. She was born in Gachancipá, Colombia South America. Living in New York, she moved to Miami, Florida in 1976. She relocated to Eustis in 1981 and was most recently living in Tavares. Oliva was a seamstress in New York before moving to Florida. She was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Eustis. She also loved gardening.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Manuel Fernandez-Rivera in 1983 and Jose Rodriguez in 2000 and her six siblings, Jose Jesus León, Carlos Julio León, Anibal León, Misael León, Maria Elisa León and Aracely León.

Oliva is remembered and will be dearly missed by her nieces, Paulina (Jeff) Rumpf; Nancy J. Bastidas and her daughter, great niece, Natalia Chaparro; and nephew, Mauricio Bastidas; as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family in Columbia.

Family and friends are invited to gather for viewing on Tuesday, January 30 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with a funeral ceremony starting at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Her final resting place will be Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.
