Eustis invites fathers and daughters to dance the night away

Dressing up and going to their first dance is a milestone in every girl’s life, and who better to share that experience with than their fathers.

On Jan. 13, the City of Eustis Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the 3rd Annual Daddy-Daughter Dance at Eustis Community Center, located at 601 Northshore Drive, from 5-8 p.m.

The theme of “Be Our Guest” is a delightful hint at the prince and princess theme for the evening, which includes dinner and dancing in a French-inspired atmosphere. Attendees are encouraged to wear theme-appropriate attire. One of the highlights of the event is always the “Daddy-Daughter Dance-Off,” with couples competing to show off their moves and outdance the competition.

Tickets are $30 per couple and $15 for each additional daughter which can be purchased at Eustis.recdesk.com under programs. For more information, call 352-357-7969.
