Local animal shelter celebrates Hanukkah with upcoming adoption event

This Hanukkah season, Lake County Animal Shelter is thrilled to announce, for the first time, “8 Nights of Love,” a heartwarming adoption event that aims to brighten the lives of both pets and their new families.

Embrace the spirit of Hanukkah by opening your heart and home to a new furry friend during this adoption event. From Dec. 7-15, the Lake County Animal Shelter invites its community to join the festivities with special adoption rates for the entire Hanukkah season. Dogs will be available for adoption for $8, while cats are two-for-$8.

“The ‘8 Nights of Love’ adoption event is not only a celebration of the Hanukkah season but also a wonderful opportunity to give these deserving pets a forever home,” said Whitney Boylston, director of the Office of Animal Services.

Celebrate the season of giving by making a difference in the lives of these lovable animals. Whether you are seeking a playful pup or a dynamic cat duo, LCAS has the perfect match.
