Donald Geipel Husband, Father, Brother, grandfather, uncle, great role model and overall good person. He passed peacefully at home in Leesburg FL surrounded by family. Donald was born in Kalamazoo, Mi. 5/28/42 to Gustav and Anna Geipel.

He was devoted Husband to the love of his life Diane Geipel (Davies) until her untimely passing 3/29/2019, he loved and missed her every day. They lived in Kalamazoo Mi area until moving to Florida in 2018. They traveled extensively around the country sharing experiences, new adventures and building lifelong friendships with the people they met.

Don supported & raised his family as a master electrician thru IBEW local 131 for 40 years till his retirement, His passions in life was family, Friends, being honest and working hard; He was always willing to aid -assist anyone. He also enjoyed Traveling, golfing, reading, sharing stories of adventures, and McDonald’s Mocha Frappes’.

He had a fulfilled and accomplished life to be proud of. His enthusiasm, spirit and zest for life will live on in those of us that were blessed to have known him. The family is happy that he found eternal peace and love with his beloved wife and son. We will celebrate and miss him dearly every day without him.

Donald is survived by daughter Lynette Cubitt, Son in law Ronald Cubitt, daughter in law Lisa Geipel, Brother Karl Geipel, sister Marlyn Geipel, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
