James C. Tyler

James “Jim” C. Tyler, 79, of Eustis, Florida, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

Born in Clearwater, Florida, he moved to Eustis in 1972 from Tabor City, North Carolina. Jim was an Inspector with The United States Department of Agriculture prior to his retirement. Jim was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mount Dora, FL and was an active Deacon throughout his adult life.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Tyler of Eustis, FL; 2 daughters, Debs (Pedro) Linares of Grand Island, FL and Julie (Tom) Saxton of Saint Johns, FL; 2 bonus daughters, Sherry (Christian) Michau, Julie (Gus) Henriquez; brother, Denny (Linda) Tyler of Largo, FL; 5 grandchildren, Kyle (Koral), Adam, Kellie (Chase), Daniel, Tyler; 4 bonus grandchildren, Alex, Alessandra, Aaron, Ashlyn; 2 great-grandchildren, Laynee and Kade.

Jim was predeceased by his first wife, Liz Tyler. Services will be held at LifePointe Church (Student Center), Eustis on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 10:00 till 11:00 AM.
