Joseph Cornelius Keller

Joseph Cornelius Keller, 78, of Tavares, FL, passed away on August 12, 2023. Joseph was born on January 11, 1945 in Mount Kisco, NY, to his loving parents; Joseph Francis and Margaret Cora (Perkett) Keller.

Joseph was raised Catholic and spent most of his life in Mount Kisco where he was a member of the Volunteer Firefighter Association. Joseph worked as an automotive mechanic and was very passionate about cars. In his retirement he had been taking apart and rebuilding a Model T.

Joseph also enjoyed collecting and shooting guns, he could be described as quite the enthusiast. Joseph relocated to the Central Florida area in 2012. He will be remembered fondly and missed dearly by his beloved family.

Joseph is survived by his two children: Dawn Michele Mainville and her husband Daniel of Leesburg, FL and Richard Joseph Keller and his wife Theresa of Richmond, VA. As well as a precious granddaughter; Danae Elizabeth Mainville and two siblings: Robert Francis Keller and Margaret Emma Keller.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents and a son; Brian Charles Keller.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers a donation in Joe’s honor to either the Muscular Dystrophy Association or The FASNY Firefighter’s Home.
