Robert L. Jordan

Robert L. Jordan, son of the late Hugh and Agnes Jordan (nee Archer) was born on July 4, 1943, in Springfield, Ohio. Robert died suddenly on April 27, 2023.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen Jordan (nee Weber); his sons Patrick Jordan of Mesa, Arizona; Daniel Jordan of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one granddaughter and two great grandchildren of Mesa, Arizona. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and one sister.

Bob served in the United States Army in Vietnam from 1965 to 1966. After leaving the service, Bob made his living in the restaurant business until 1980 when he and his wife Karen, became owner operator of their own trucking business. They travelled 48 states and Canada delivering everything from household goods to high valued vintage cars and priceless works of art.

In 2015 Bob retired to Tavares, Florida. Not one to sit around, Bob then went to work for AutoZone and later Jenkins Nissan in Leesburg, Florida.

Those who knew Bob knew him to be a dedicated worker and a first class jokester. Bob was a car fanatic and enjoyed car clubs and car shows. He was a NASCAR fan as well.

Bob will be greatly missed.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 10:00AM at Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Eustis, Florida. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to Wounded Warriors or Tunnel 2 Towers.
