Leesburg man wins $1 million in Florida Lottery with ticket purchased at Circle K

The Florida Lottery has announced that  Edward Haggerty of Leesburg claimed a $1 million prize from the Gold Rush Limited Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,000.00.      

Haggerty purchased his winning ticket from Circle K, located at 2211 N. Citrus Blvd. in Leesburg. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.        

Last month, a winning $1 million Florida Lottery ticket was purchased at the Circle K at  900 South 14th St. in Leesburg.
