The Crossings at 44 development would be located on State Road 44.

The controversial Crossings at 44 development is  before the commissioners for the second reading of the proposed project. This development calls for an annexation of a  34.7 acre property into the city so that it can be used for a mix of residential and commercial uses. Neighbors have expressed concerns regarding the impact of increased traffic on State Road 44.
