Judith Dianne Bechtel, 81, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on January 9, 2023. Judith was born on April 2, 1941, in Clarion, PA to her loving parents, Kenneth and Anna (Kulp) Strotman.
Judith was born and raised in Pennsylvania, and experienced many other parts of the country moving around with her father for his job. At the age of 37, she settled in Leesburg, FL. Judith worked as a secretary and 411 operator in telecommunications for many years. She enjoyed spending her time gardening and sailing.
Judith will be remembered fondly for being a great inspiration to her family, whom she always took such great care of. She was a very strong, dedicated, and determined woman. Judith was the glue that held her family together.
Judith is survived by seven beloved children: Marion Lavern Bechtel Jr, Daniel Ryan Bechtel, Sherry Lynn Stauffer, Robin Michelle Morgan, Marilyn Dianne Bilbrey, Colleen Renee Maxwell, and Gretchen Anne Bechtel, as well as 11 adoring grandchildren and 13 precious great grandchildren.
Judith is preceded in death by her parents, and her five brothers.
