oyce C. Mach, 85, of Leesburg, Florida passed away on December 23, 2022 at Freedom Pointe at The Villages. Joyce was born on March 12, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to her parents Otto Mach and Clara (Selepa) Mach.
Joyce was a retired educator and had worked in Parochial School Systems in both Illinois and Florida for over 55 years. She was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Leesburg, Florida and worked at St. Paul’s as a Teacher for many years until she finally retired. She was a member of The Sisters of Charity, B.V.M. (Blessed Virgin Mary) a community of Catholic women religious called to serve.
She is survived by her sister-in-law: Marian Mach of Leesburg, FL; a niece: Carol Nanfria and her husband Jerry of Leesburg, FL; a nephew: Paul Mach and his wife Denise of Leesburg, FL; a grand-niece and nephew: Maggie and Joe.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Leesburg, Florida at a later date.
